Inter-class futsal tournament
On the 13th and 14th of March, the inter-class futsal tournament was once again held with the teams “Sumo de pickles”, “Real C”, “Patrulha pata FC”, “Churrasco de domingo FC”, “Reformados FC” and “Os Varzinistas ABR”. It was an excellent and satisfying event, thanks to the merit of the entire organising team and our great players. They were games of great emotion, but especially of great camaraderie, where everyone collaborated to make these two memorable days the best they could be. They were games in which fair play was always present.
On 13 and 14 March, the inter-class futsal tournament was once again held with the teams “Sumo de pickles”, “Real C”, “Patrulha pata FC”, “Churrasco de domingo FC”, “Reformados FC” and “Os Varzinistas ABR”. It was an excellent and satisfying event, thanks to the merit of the entire organising team and our great players. On the first day, four teams qualified for the second phase of the tournament: “Sumo de pickles”, “Patrulha pata FC”, “Churrasco de domingo” FC and “Os Varzinistas ABR”.
The following day, the semi-final between “Patrulha pata FC” and “Sumo de pickles” took place, where the teams came 3rd and 4th respectively. The final of the tournament was between the teams “Os Varzinistas ABR” and “Churrasco de domingo FC”, and ended with the victory of the team “Churrasco de domingo FC” on penalties, 9-8. Congratulations to the winning team!
From the tournament, it’s worth highlighting the opportunity given to these students/players to do what they love best and become better and better at their passion, which is football and sport. Many thanks to everyone who took part and collaborated in this rewarding experience! A special thank you to Isabel Campos for her dedication and good humour, because without her none of this would have been possible.
